Curriculum Design

The overall curriculum design is based on the needs of creative industries, with its core on producing digital media content and artistic works, and on developing marketing strategies. Courses are offered in two professional tracks: digital communication and art marketing.

Before graduation, students are required to complete a minimum of 38 credits, including 21 credits of required courses and 17 credits of elective courses, and to pass the necessary exams. Required courses are the core subjects: such as Research Methodology, Contemporary Communication Theory and Practice, Thought and Practice of Contemporary Art, and Overseas Studies in Cultural Creative Industries. Elective courses are divided into two tracks: Research Track and Creative Production Track. Students graduating with a written thesis will earn a MA degree and those who choose to complete a creative media text or art work will be given a MFA degree. Instruction is conducted in small classes where students are able to receive sufficient attention from professors.
